Commercial Manager

Do you want to play a pivotal role in shaping the solutions that will drive the energy transition?

As our new Commercial Manager, you will play an important role in expanding our market reach and enhancing our commercial capabilities. Your primary responsibility will be to identify and engage with potential customers and identify project opportunities mainly for our floating solar technology Brizo.

As we are a small and flexible team, you will also be involved in other business-related matters within the commercial team, and drive initiatives such as performing market studies and identifying strategic opportunities to accelerate our entry into the market.

This position requires regular travel to meet with Customers, explore new markets, and attend industry events.

The positions as Commercial Manager will be based in Oslo, Norway, or in Aarhus, Denmark and will report to VP-Commercial  

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Commercial development and Customer relations
  • Sales and tender activities
  • Identify and mature potential partnerships for our technologies
  • Gather and communicate market insights
  • Perform and present Customer and opportunity analysis

The right candidate has: 

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience. Knowledge of the renewables industry is a plus but not required
  • Strong communication and writing skills in English that enable you to present findings and recommendations clearly and concisely and with strong attention to detail
  • Good cultural understanding with the ability to establish connections across cultures and borders
  • Good understanding of contracts, proven negotiation skills, and a hands-on approach to customers and clients
  • Talent for project management – the ability to drive processes forward
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong integrity and self-driven personality
  • Outgoing nature with a practical mindset
