Island Drilling Company AS is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Offshore Installation Manager to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of our semi-submersible drilling unit.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all operations are carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.

• Manage and supervise a team of offshore workers, including engineers, technicians, and support staff.

• Monitor the performance of equipment and ensure that maintenance and repair work is carried out as required.

• Manage logistics and supplies, including managing the inventory of equipment and materials needed for operations.

• Collaborate with other teams, such as the drilling team and production team, to ensure that all operations are carried out efficiently.

• Keep accurate records of operations, including equipment maintenance, production, and safety incidents.

• Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize operational efficiency.

• Maintain good communication with onshore personnel, including senior management, to ensure that any issues are quickly addressed and resolved.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Drilling or a related field.

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in offshore oil and gas operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

• Excellent knowledge of health and safety regulations and industry standards.

• Strong leadership and management skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

• Valid offshore certification.
