Storekeeper - Technical Department
Orders parts and equipment as required for the various departments.
Responsible for shipment to base of equipment for repair, return goods, goods subject to complaints or for goods for storage. This includes filling in the required papers (manifests, material transfer forms, etc).
Keeps work sheets (depending on the rig)
Responsible for receiving, inspection, labelling and storing of equipment.
Responsible for running registration and card-indexing of stocks on all transfer of goods.
Assist Deck Crew with shipments and otherwise participate in miscellaneous work when required.
Responsible for follow-up of stocks from day to day.
Responsible for receiving inspection and inspection prior to shipment of equipment.
Responsible for handling requisitions and ensuring that these are approved in accordance with instructions.
Reports to technical section leader.
Desired qualifications requirements:
Bachelor's degree- within supply chain
Minimum 2-5 years relevant experience from rig companies
Experience as storekeeper or equivalent from a Semisubmersible rig, warehouse
Good knowledge of Office and Maisy, will be an advantage
Offshore safety course and approved health certificate
Good Norwegian and English skills, both written and oral
Project experience will be an advantage
Multidisciplinary understanding and good cooperation skills
Must be able to work independently, neatly and structured towards tasks and deadlines
Flexible and positive
Willing to change
International travel must be expected
