Description of the position:
• As a Housekeeping Manager, you organise, plan and lead the work within the cleaning department of the hotel.
• Overall responsibility and follow-up for cleaners, direct and guide them in carrying out cleaning tasks.
• Quality control of cleaning and ensuring that the areas are representative.
• Supplier contact.
• Actively work with routines to improve the product and services.
You are a confident person who can motivate and inspire your employees. You are positive, creative, solution-oriented, and flexible. You cope with stress and a high pace and like working "out in the field" and in a team. You have good communication skills, both verbally and in writing, and are responsible and capable of making decisions. In addition, you have a high level of quality and service, and are systematic and orderly.

You are reliable, solution-oriented and committed to constructive cooperation and a pleasant working environment. You speak one of the Scandinavian languages or English.
Skarsnuten Hotel stood ready in 2003 with 37 rooms and a restaurant with the intend of being a “hub” for cabins nearby.
When more and more cabins was sold out, the hotel became more independent. After a short run, the hotel was sold to Knut Kloster who owned the hotel from 2004 – 2011.
It was at this point the current owner, Jørgen Broch, bought the hotel with the intent of expansion and renovation - The renovation and enhancement started almost immediately. In the years of 2021 and 2022 the hotel as been expanding and renovating the entire hotel. Today the hotel stands as completely new ready to start a new era.
