Country Manager UK

Safetec is looking for a UK Country Manager, highly experienced in safety and risk consulting, based in our Aberdeen office. 

The role is an exciting opportunity to continue building Safetec's holistic HSSE services and operating locally in Aberdeen, in the UK and globally with our established team.
Our new Country Manager must have extensive experience in the oil and gas industry (and across other sectors is preferable).

You will be responsible for day-to-day activities within the UK, achieving corporate revenue and profit goals, maintaining the quality, consistency and continuity of all work performed, in compliance with Company policies and procedures. A key aspect of this role will be to develop the business.

As Safetec's UK Country Manager, you will develop and implement the overall country strategy which will adapt to sales and business profitability. You will communicate business development opportunities with internal colleagues and external clients, selling both capacity and ability to meet customer needs. As a UK Country Manager, you will develop effective strategies to ensure that your business fulfils the financial obligations of revenue and profit without compromising on quality. You will provide leadership for the successful day-to-day operations, and will leverage a working environment that encourages collaboration, accountability and engaging workforce.

The Country Manager reports to Safetec’s President and CEO.

Requirements:

• The candidate requires to be Degree qualified in either Science or Engineering
• An affinity with the consultancy model would be an advantage, as would credibility within the safety and risk management sector
• Clear commercial focus and understanding
• Collaborator and team player
• Willingness to be responsible for high quality deliverable and business outcomes
• Clear focus on delivering exceptional customer value
• Experience in business development
• A well-established network 
• A good reputation within the Aberdeen market
